Daughtry was the opening act and they were just as amazing as Bon Jovi. I had never seen such a full house for an opening act, it was very cool. During Daughtry's performance, Richie Sambora came from backstage to check the show out.
The coolest part for me, though, was when Bon Jovi was on stage, Richie Sambora noticed my "The best girls are from New Jersey" t-shirt, pointed at me, and gave me some sort of mock salute. I turned to Lindsey for confirmation that it had, indeed, just happened, and before I could even ask her, she said, "Yes, he totally just pointed at you."
Every song was amazing, Jon Bon Jovi is such an amazing performer with such great energy. Chris Daughtry came out to sing "Blaze of Glory" with them and it was incredible. In case you want to know what other songs were sung, Lindsey snagged the setlist since she's so cool:

I took a TON, so I didn't want to post a bunch here and waste bandwidth.
So the concert was one of the coolest nights of my life and I was lucky to spend it with one of my best friends--Thank you Lindsey!
In other Bon Jovi news, there are rumors going around that this summer he will be playing Central Park; following the footsteps of Simon & Garfunkel, Dave Matthews Band, and Garth Brooks. So I may not have to wait much longer to see him again! No date has been set, it's all speculation, but since Jon Bon Jovi said it himself in an interview, I'm pretty sure it will happen.
That same weekend I was in Atlanta, Lindsay Morris and Jeff Hernandez made it official and got hitched!
No shocker that Lindsay was a beautiful bride! This is the last picture I took before I got reprimanded. What's up with that? At Catholic weddings we're taking pictures left and right non-stop. If I ever get married and someone tells you you can't take pictures, you let me know. I'll tell them how I want it done. I've been told that it's because the professional photographer's pics won't come out as good if my flash is going off as well. That's a crock. If your camera is as high-tech as it should be, my flash won't make a difference. They just don't want people having their own pics because then they won't pay for the overpriced professional ones. But I digress. Here's a pic of Meghan, Michelle, Yoder and me before the reception. Apparently we all got the black memo.

And here we are with the beautiful bride and her handsome husband. Obviously this is the end of the night since Jeff has shed his tie, vest, jacket, etc!
It was such a great weekend to see just about everyone. Unfortunately, what little free time I had was not spent resting, it was spent PACKING. I packed up everything in my room that I possibly could until I ran out of boxes. Now, whenever mom and dad have the time (before August 10th!), they will be the greatest parents ever and drive all that stuff up since Kauke decided to be the coolest roommate ever and handle selling my furniture.
And speaking of moving, mom and dad helped me bring all my stuff to the apartment last night and got to take a look at my new digs. For now I'm sleeping on an aero bed, but who cares, I'm not commuting from the 'Wood (hi mom and dad!) anymore. It was really nasty out this morning--actually, it's STILL nasty out--so I decided to take the bus instead of walking 7 blocks to the subway in that weather. It probably takes less time than the subway, so that's good...It's a block and a half from my apartment and drops me off a block and a half from work. Takes about 30 minutes or so. So all in all, my commute isn't quick, but it feels like it's light years faster than my trek in from the 'Wood!
So I realize that this post's title is misleading. I don't have any pictures of the place. I'll try and take some so everyone can see what it looks like. Although with my lack of furniture it will look ghetto fabulous.

In closing, I'd like to leave you all with this picture of me and Jon Bon Jovi.
